Jason C. Brown is a shareholder at the law firm of Barna, Guzy & Steffen, Ltd., where he specializes in family law. Jason is a former chairperson of the Family Law Section of the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association. His commitment to education includes teaching divorce and family law courses within the paralegal program at North Hennepin Community College. A frequent speaker, he has presented at numerous continuing legal education (CLE) seminars for organizations such as the Minnesota Judicial Branch, the Minnesota Family Law Institute, Minnesota CLE, and the bar associations of Hennepin, Ramsey, Anoka, Dakota, and Washington County, and the Tenth Judicial District.

Education and Early Career
Jason earned his Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, from Minnesota State University, Mankato, and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul. After law school, he clerked for the Honorable Timothy R. Bloomquist, retired Chief Judge of Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District, gaining valuable judicial insight that informs his practice today.
