Jason Brown is a founding partner with the Brown Law Offices, P.A. Jason is a graduate of Minnesota State University, Mankato, and the William Mitchell College of Law. He has successfully litigated against some of the more recognized divorce and family law lawyers in the Twin Cities, having tried cases in Hennepin, Anoka, Ramsey, Wright, Sherburne, Isanti, Scott and Dakota County, among others. Many of Jason’s cases involve child custody, spousal maintenance and complex property division issues – including several recent cases in which the value of the marital estate exceeded ten million dollars. Jason’s media appearances include WCCO Radio, KARE 11 Television, the Star Tribune, USA Today, Time Magazine, Minnesota Monthly and NBC News.
Cynthia Brown is a founding partner with the Brown Law Offices, P.A. She is a graduate of the University of South Dakota and William Mitchell College of Law. Cynthia began her legal career by serving as the law clerk to the (now retired) Chief Judge of Minnesota’s Tenth Judicial District. She is a former prosecutor, who is uniquely qualified to advocate for clients accused of “wrongdoing” in the family court setting. Cynthia takes a common-sense approach to divorce and family cases. She tries to resolve matters through mediation, or some other form of alternative dispute resolution, before taking an issue into the courtroom. She has handled countless cases involving custody, child support, property division, alimony, domestic abuse and paternity disputes.
Kaitlyn Andren is an associate attorney with the Brown Law Offices, P.A. Kaitlyn is a graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College and the University of St. Thomas Law
School. She is a former law clerk to the Honorable Edward T. Wahl, a respected family court judge in Hennepin County. Kaitlyn also served as a special assistant county attorney in the support and collections division of the Anoka County Attorney’s Office. Kaitlyn routinely handles divorce, paternity, adoption, domestic abuse and harassment cases. She has substantial courtroom experience, and is a qualified neutral under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice.
