Jason C. Brown, Attorney
Prior to founding the Brown Law Offices, P.A., Jason clerked for Timothy R. Bloomquist, Chief Judge of Minnesota's Tenth Judicial District, and practiced with one of Minnesota's most respected personal injury lawyers, Fred Pritzker. He has tried a wide variety of matters, ranging from divorce and personal injury to civil commitment and criminal matters. Many of these cases received significant media attention, both locally and nationally. Today his practice is dedicated almost exclusively to divorce and family law cases. He has successfully litigated against some of the top divorce attorneys in Minnesota.
Jason enjoys sharing his knowledge with other lawyers by lecturing at continuing legal education seminars. He has also written a number of published articles for various legal journals. Jason is one of a handful of attorneys who have been elected to serve as the chairperson of the Family Law Section of the Minnesota Trial Lawyer's Association and is a former adjunct professor of divorce and family law at North Hennepin Community College. In addition, Jason is a guest blogger with the Minnesota Lawyer newspaper, publisher of the Minnesota Family Law Blog and hosts the Minnesota Family Law This Week podcast. He is a high school mock trial coach with Legacy Christian Academy and serves on the Board of Directors for Northgate Church.
Jason graduated magna cum laude from Minnesota State University Mankato and earned his Juris Doctorate, with honors, from the William Mitchell College of Law. During law school, Jason served as a published staff writer and associate editor of the Law Review and as a member, and later coach, of William Mitchell's International Moot Court.
